Hi there, we like to introduce ourselves

We, Charlotte and Jörgen, are the new owners of Carmen Rooms since 1 januari 2024.
We come originally from Sweden but have lived here in the area for four years now. We speak of course Swedish and understand a bit of the other Scandinavian languages, as well as English and the Spanish we practice but still have some difficulty to fully understand.
We have always been working with people, running riding-school, laser clinic, working in restaurants and Jörgen is an amazing chef in the kitchen and also continued to work as Engineer within the electronic component industry.
Apart from Carmen Rooms we also run Villa Sunshine a B&B in the countryside between Nerja and Frigiliana. There we also have a lot of retreats for yoga, art, writing and hiking. When staying there you get the opportunity to join morning yoga and you have more of a tranquility with stunning view over the mountains and the sea.
For Carmen Rooms our goal is to get our customers the best of sleep with effort on the beds as well as the breakfast. The rooms are made more cozy with darker atmosphere to get a calmer stay. At the same time you have the beach close and the center in just a short walk away.
For us its important to serve the best for our clients as well as for our stuff, therefore we try to balance in-between everybody’s wishes.
